Carl had the opportunity to engage with experts and leaders from various sectors of the renewable energy landscape, forging valuable relationships for Nimbnet. The conference showcased solar energy through Intersolar Europe, highlighting advancements in inverter technology and solar cell modules that enhance quality and reduce costs. Carl also explored the exciting world of battery and energy storage solutions at ees Europe. The Power2Drive Europe exhibition, on the other hand, was a fantastic opportunity for Carl to delve into the realm of e-mobility and charging infrastructure, gaining insights into clean transportation solutions and establishing connections within the industry. Furthermore, EM-Power Europe presented Carl with a wide array of integrated energy solutions and energy management systems. The exhibition emphasized the importance of smart, sustainable, and carbon-neutral energy supplies for businesses and neighborhoods, aligning perfectly with Nimbnet’s vision.

Megawatt chargers will change the future
One highlight for Carl was the megawatt charger. He expressed, “Holding the Megacharger in my hand, I was surprised by how light it actually felt. With the new Megachargers, we will be able to charge up to 4 MW. Instead of charging your vehicle for an hour, you will be able to charge in less than 5 minutes. It’s truly a groundbreaking technology that will revolutionize the charging experience for electric vehicles.” This will completely transform the time efficiency of electric vehicles, especially electric trucks that often take much longer to charge than personal vehicles. Nimbnet foresees that Megachargers will be crucial for the electrification of transport fleets.
